Look what I found!

I was rummaging through my drawer last night and guess what I found? My blister from last year's 24 hour race at Perth! It's a bit harder than it used to be - a bit like a poppadom in fact - but considering it is now more than 13 months old it is in excellent condition.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any of my toe nails from the same event, but I'll keep looking :)

Eeww! How can you be sentimental about these things, after Loch Ness I just had quick change of top and sock and shoes standing on the grass, I noticed the skin and toe nail on my right pinkie that was blistered at Keswick were hanging off, so I just pulled them off and fed them to the seagulls!

I don't think it's sentiment Fiona, I reckon he plans on being cloned from these at some future date. ;-)

love it - I gave one of my toenails to my Mum when she was over in the summer - she did not seem to appreciate it - go figure.. Wish I had kept the blister skin though !

Hi Ian - once I'd got the gag reflex under control - I thought what is the actual size? You need a pound coin (or something) to give an indication of scale!
